Army chief of staff ordered to step down immediately
We are now learning that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has reportedly asked the Army’s top uniformed officer to step down. The Pentagon made the announcement on Thursday without giving an initial reason for the departure. Gen. Randy George “will be retiring from his position as the 41st Chief of Staff of the Army effective immediately,” said Sean Parnell, the Pentagon’s top spokesman. LiveNOW’s Andy Mac is speaking with Konstantin Toropin from the Associated Press as the move comes as the United States continues to wage war against Iran.
