BREAKING: House passes bill to extend ACA subsidies

We are now learning that the House has voted to extend Affordable Care Act subsidies that were set to expire at the end of 2025. Following the passage of the American Rescue Plan Act in 2021, Congress temporarily increased the tax credits available to individuals who buy health insurance through the ACA Marketplace. Minority Leader of the U.S House of Representatives, Hakeem Jeffries, spoke to reporters in Washington, D.C. after the vote took place.
