Kansas City Chiefs to leave Arrowhead for new stadium
We have now learned that the Kansas City Chiefs will relocate across the Kansas-Missouri border with plans for a new stadium. The hope is to have a domed stadium ready by the 2031 season. This comes after a legislative committee approved a bonding package to support the move. Chiefs owner Clark Hunt and city officials addressed the media on Monday. The Chiefs have played at Arrowhead Stadium on the Missouri side of Kansas City since 1972.
