Multiple injured in Boulder 'terror attack'

Boulder police are responding to reports of an attack near Pearl Street. Initial reports to officers indicated a suspect had a weapon and multiple people were being set on fire. The suspect is now in custody and has been hospitalized. Their identity has not yet been released. Authorities are investigating whether the attack was targeted, particularly given that a pro-Israel group was holding a "peaceful" gathering nearby. Officials have characterized the scene as "complex." The Boulder Jewish Community issued a joint statement. ?We are saddened and heartbroken to learn that an incendiary device was thrown at walkers at the Run for Their Lives walk on Pearl Street as they were raising awareness for the hostages still held in Gaza.? The statement went on to say, ?We don?t have all the details of what is unfolding, and we promise to keep our community informed.?
