Agencies tell workers not to comply with Elon Musk email

Several key U.S. agencies told federal workers over the weekend not to comply with Elon Musk's email in which he demanded employees explain what they accomplished last week — or risk losing their job. In a social media post Saturday, Musk, tabbed by President Donald Trump to lead the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), said "Consistent with President @realDonaldTrump’s instructions, all federal employees will shortly receive an email requesting to understand what they got done last week. Failure to respond will be taken as a resignation."
