Shooting along I-75 in Kentucky

A shooting is being investigated in Kentucky near I-75 on Saturday night. The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office first put out an alert around 6:45 p.m. local time to avoid I-75 in a particular area in London due to an active shooter situation. The office said in a post on Facebook that "numerous persons" had been shot but didn’t elaborate. Gov. Andy Beshear said his office was aware of a shooting on I-75, and said law enforcement has shut down the interstate in both directions. It’s not known at this time how many people have been hurt, or what the "active shooter" situation was that the sheriff’s office named. This is a developing story.
