Disney pulls plug on $1 billion FL project
Amid an ongoing feud with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Disney has decided not to move forward with a project that would have brought some 2,000 jobs to Central Florida near Orlando. Josh D'Amaro, chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, told employees in a letter provided to FOX Business that the company is no longer moving forward with its office development in Lake Nona, citing "new leadership and changing business conditions."
