According to local reports, the small plane crashed around 7:20 a.m. Friday on one of the busiest streets in that part of town.

Witnesses said the plane tried to land on the avenue and hit a bus, causing an explosion. Two people on the plane – an attorney and the pilot – were killed, and seven people were rescued on the ground.

Reports say the injured include a motorcyclist who was hit with debris, a woman who was on the bus, and the bus driver, who had an anxiety attack.
