Heather Miller is a digital content creator for FOX TV Stations’ digital platforms.
A Louisiana native, she began her journalism career as a newspaper reporter covering local governments, crime and education in the area of South Louisiana known as Cajun country. She transitioned to TV news in 2014 and has worked in the digital news sphere for more than a decade.
Heather has won multiple awards for feature writing and investigative reporting, most notably for her coverage of public education in New Orleans post-Katrina.
She’s managed digital news teams in New Orleans and Portland, Oregon, and was working in Seattle in 2020 when the city became the epicenter of the COVID-19 pandemic.
When she’s not working, you can find Heather on a hiking trail, pitching a tent in the woods, or chasing her dog along the river. She’s also a former Rock, Paper, Scissors champion and a star karaoke performer.
