UK PM Starmer announces resignation

On Monday, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced his resignation as leader of the Labour Party.  Starmer made the announcement before a group of reporters and members of his party outside his residence at 10 Downing St. Starmer is the sixth prime minister in a decade to announce a premature departure.
