WHO: "Very low" risk of Russia plague spread

The World Health Organization described the risk of the spread of plague from Russia to other countries as "very low." The US State Department has been closely monitoring concerns over the pneumonic plague after the death of 28-year-old Darya Shipilova who worked at the Anti-Plague Research Institute of Siberia and the Far East.
