White House holds special briefing on Kilmar Garcia

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt held an unscheduled briefing to make a statement on Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the Maryland man deported to El Salvador. "There is no Maryland father," Leavitt told reporters in the briefing room. "Let me reiterate. Kilmar Abrego Garcia is an illegal alien, MS-13 gang member and foreign terrorist who was deported back to his home country."
