Second child dies of measles in Texas

A second school-aged child has died in Texas from complications related to having measles, according to officials. The child was not vaccinated and had no reported underlying conditions. U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. traveled to West Texas Sunday in the wake of the news. He noted that his intention was to "console the families and to be with the community in their moment of grief." He added that he's spoken to Governor Greg Abbott and they have redeployed CDC teams to Texas. The measles outbreak in Texas has grown to more than 400 cases reported since January.
