$75 million: LA County sued for alleged child abuse

The Los Angeles County Department of Child and Family Services is being sued for child abuse, attorney Brian Claypool announced. The $75 million lawsuit alleges county-appointed monitors had been accused of abusing their own children while working for the county, and allowed abuse to take place while supervising family visits.
