Israeli airstrikes on Gaza kill at least 50 people

Local hospital officials in Gaza say overnight strikes by Israel killed at least 55 people across the Gaza Strip. The strikes come just a day after Israel's government said it would seize large areas of Gaza and establish a new security corridor across the Palestinian territory.
