Security measures in place ahead of the Super Bowl

In the aftermath of the Jan. 1 terrorist attack on Bourbon Street and between major tourist-heavy events in New Orleans, officials with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) have been preparing to combat any potential threats during Super Bowl LIX. President Donald Trump is expected to be in New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX. Secret Service will be working with state and local counterparts.
