Judge rules DOJ can release Jack Smith's final report
U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon has ruled that the Department of Justice can release its investigative report on President-elect Donald Trump’s 2020 election interference case. A temporary injunction barring the immediate release of the report remains in effect until Tuesday, and it’s unlikely Judge Cannon’s order will be the ruling on the case. Trump's defense team could challenge it all the way up to the Supreme Court.
