4 injured after evacuation of Delta plane
Four people have been injured after a Delta flight was evacuated at the Atlanta airport on Friday morning. Officials say the flight from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport to Minneapolis-St. Paul aborted takeoff shortly after 9 a.m. on Friday due to an engine problem. According to a post from the Atlanta airport's X page, passengers deplaned from the Boeing 757-300 aircraft using emergency slides and were taken to a nearby concourse. During the evacuation, four of the 201 passengers suffered minor injuries, officials said. One was taken to a local hospital. The other three were treated on the scene. "Nothing is more important than the safety of our people and customers, and we apologize to our customers for their experience. Our focus is to address their immediate needs and get them to their destinations safely," a Delta Air Lines spokesperson told FOX 5.
