Gaetz says he won't return to Congress

Former U.S. Representative Matt Gaetz said he will not return to Congress next year, according to an interview aired on Friday, a day after President-elect Donald Trump's initial nominee to lead the Department of Justice withdrew amid sex and drug allegations. "I'm still going to be in the fight but it's going to be a from a new perch. I do not intend to join the 119th Congress," Gaetz, a Florida Republican who had won another term in Congress, said in an interview with right-wing activist Charlie Kirk.
