A newly unsealed court filing alleges former President Donald Trump "resorted to crimes" in a failed bid to cling to power following his loss in the 2020 presidential election. The new evidence was submitted following a Supreme Court opinion that gave broad immunity to former presidents and narrowed the scope of the prosecution.
