Harris at the border: immigration & 2024 politics

On Friday, Vice President Kamala Harris made her first visit to the Arizona-Mexico border as a presidential candidate. This was also Harris' second trip to the state since becoming the Democratic nominee. Harris made a stop in Douglas, Arizona for official briefings on operations and progress on disrupting the flow of fentanyl through the southern border. The border is a top issue ahead of the 2024 election, with both GOP candidate Donald Trump and his running mate JD Vance making multiple stops in the last few months. Stephanie Murray is a national politics reporter for AZCentral. She was on scene as Harris visited the border, and joins LiveNOW from FOX.
