Texas officers killed in separate shooting incidents

Dallas police officer Darron Burks, 46, was killed in a shooting on Thursday, August 29, while he was sitting in his marked police car in the Oak Cliff area. On Tuesday, Sept. 3, Maher Husseini, a Houston deputy was driving to work when authorities say he was fatally shot at an intersection in west Houston.
