'Dark oxygen' creates questions about origin of life
Scientists have been researching dark oxygen since 2013, when Andrew Sweetman noticed some odd readings on his monitoring equipment 13,000 feet below the surface. The finding challenged long-held assumptions, and showed that oxygen could be produced without photosynthesis. One of the researchers on the recently-published study, Dr. Franz Geiger, joins LiveNOW from FOX.
