Suspected attack by Yemen Houthi rebels

Yemen's Houthi rebels have targeted a United States-flagged container ship on Tuesday in the Gulf of Aden. The ship's captain reported an explosion in close proximity to the vessel off the coast of Nishtun, Yemen, the British military’s United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations center said. The explosion took place in the farthest reaches of the waterway earlier targeted by the rebels, the center said. They did not have an explanation as to what caused the explosion.
