Grenada's prime minister gives Beryl update

At least one person has died from a result of Hurricane Beryl hitting St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves announced there may be more fatalities. “Hurricane Beryl, dangerous, devastating hurricane has come and has gone and it has left in its wake, immense destruction, pain, suffering, across our nation at this hour,” he said. The prime minister announced he received reports that 90% of the houses have been severely damaged or destroyed, with the island’s airport’s roof gone.
