Cop indicted for throwing cooler, killing suspect

NYPD Sergeant Erik Duran facing manslaughter and negligent homicide charge after he a threw the cooler that killed a drug suspect who was fleeing from police on a moped. Sgt. Erik Duran is charged with second-degree manslaughter, first- and second-degree assault and criminally negligent homicide in the death of Eric Duprey. He faces up to 25 years in prison if he is convicted of the top charge in the indictment.
