World Bee Day celebrated as colonies decline

May 20th is recognized by the United Nations as World Bee Day. Bees and other pollinators, such as butterflies, bats and hummingbirds, are increasingly under threat from human activities, the United Nations have declared. To learn more about the importance of Bees and the growing threat to their populations, LiveNOW from FOX spoke with Professor emeritus, Dr. Timothy Lawrence, who studied bees and entomology at Washington State University.
