Jerry Springer, politician turned talk show host, dies at 79

Jerry Springer, the former Cincinnati mayor and news anchor turned host of “The Jerry Springer Show,” has died. A family spokesperson said he passed away on April 27, 2023, at his home in suburban Chicago.
