10 students treated for possible overdose at middle school in Los Angeles area | LiveNOW from FOX

Ten students were treated for possible overdose at a middle school in the San Fernando Valley. Fire officials told reporters on the scene that the overdose does not involve fentanyl; they believe it was a possible cannabis overdose. Paramedics with the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to Van Nuys Middle School just before 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 1, after receiving calls of students with medical complaints. At least ten students were treated; seven were taken to the hospital. Officials say affected students showed mild to moderate symptoms.
