Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes convicted of sedition in Jan. 6 attack | LiveNOW from FOX

The founder of the Oath Keepers group, Stewart Rhodes, was found guilty of seditious conspiracy for his role in the attack on the Capitol on January 6, 2021. The trial brings the most significant verdict into the Justice Department's investigation into the Jan. 6 attack. That investigation has led to charges for more than 700 individuals, but many of its most high-profile cases, including other members of extremist groups, have yet to be convicted or cleared. Seditious conspiracy carries a sentence of up to 20 years in prison and hasn’t been used successfully since a 1990s terrorism case. An attorney for Rhodes said he would likely appeal the verdict.
