Nikolas Cruz lawyer's slammed for pulling 'middle finger stunt,' not apologizing & blaming media

Fred Guttenberg, the father of murder victim Jaime Guttenberg, gave a powerful victim impact statement during Nikolas Cruz's sentencing for killing 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. At one point Guttenberg directly addressed Cruz's defense team, accusing them of admitting to giving the middle finger during an earlier proceeding when they lost a ruling, but refusing to apologize and simply blamed the media for putting it on camera. Guttenberg also called for the resignation of Gordon Weekes, the head of the public defender's office, for his comments during the sentencing, when he asked the judge to limit what the victims could say about Cruz's defense team during their impact statements.
