Florida gubernatorial candidates Ron DeSantis (R) and Charlie Crist (D) squared off in their first and only debate before the midterm election on November 8. The highlight of the debate was a back-and-forth between the two candidates. Crist asked DeSantis if he would commit to another four years as governor of Florida, DeSantis responded with a personal shot at Crist, saying, "“The only worn-out, old donkey I’m looking to put out to pasture right now is Charlie Crist.”
