Barricaded suspect shoots at police, sets apartment on fire

A suspected gunman being sought by California police shot at officers and then barricaded himself inside an apartment in Compton. The suspect then set the apartment on fire, leading to residents in the complex being evacuated. Officers swarmed the apartment and took the suspect into custody as firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze. Police were first called over a report that someone was shot -- the condition of that victim has not been released.
