Catherine Stoddard
Catherine Stoddard hails from the ATL where she began her career in news as an intern at 11Alive (WXIA TV).
She was hired on as a "help desk producer" where she got to experience all aspects that make a newsroom tick. She was guided by wonderful and insightful mentors and eventually made her way into digital news where she found her calling. She began producing online articles that ranged from homicide and crime stories to feel-good news.
She was soon promoted to an associate digital producer and in this role, she helped grow the morning digital audience at 11Alive with the launch of Morning Rush.
During her time at 11Alive, she, along with the digital team, was awarded the Edward R. Murrow Award for 2017 which honors outstanding achievements in broadcast and digital journalism.
From Atlanta, Catherine made her way to Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, where she joined the local NBC station, KXAS, as an assignment editor/digital producer.
During her short but meaningful time at KXAS, she hosted the digital team’s weekly social media video wrap-ups while also juggling working the assignment desk and producing digital stories.
Catherine ended up in Los Angeles, California, where she spent almost one year at KTLA 5 as a digital producer and occasionally filled in at the assignment desk before finding her home with FOX TV Stations and LiveNOW from FOX’s Group Content Team.
Catherine has and continues to create national and evergreen content for the FOX-owned stations and LiveNOW websites.
She is a graduate of Georgia State University.
When she isn’t working, Catherine loves watching TV and movies (science fiction is her favorite) and enjoys exploring the Bay Area.
