Kelly Hayes is a seasoned digital journalist with over a decade of experience covering local and national news.
Kelly’s a proud graduate of the University of Cincinnati, where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Electronic Media and first discovered her passion for newswriting while taking a class with longtime Cincinnati, Ohio, news anchor Norma Rashid.
She went on to cover local happenings, crime, and digital trends for FOX 19 in Cincinnati, both digitally and on-air, and later joined the team at FOX 11 in Los Angeles, California.
During her time at FOX 11, Kelly created and hosted the station’s first podcast, Olympic & Bundy, in 2017, where she interviewed notable figures like Tim Robbins, Lance Bass, gymnastics coaching legend Valorie Kondos Field, and director Leslie Linka Glatter.
In 2019, Kelly joined a national team of reporters who provide news coverage for all of FOX's owned-and-operated markets nationwide. She covers breaking news, consumer-focused stories, and explainers of sometimes-complicated topics in the news cycle.
Kelly is a mother of two who loves history, her Peloton, watching documentaries, and live music.
