Snowboarder outruns avalanche on Mount Washington

A snowboarder avoided a scary situation by outrunning an avalanche on Mount Washington’s Tuckerman’s Ravine in New Hampshire earlier this week.
There were no injuries reported in the avalanche, the Mount Washington Observatory told the social news platform Storyful.
Video from a Mount Washington Observatory webcam, which was obtained by Storyful, shows the avalanche started on Tuesday.
The snowboarder is captured coming down a ravine just before the snow.
FOX Weather noted that the observatory is known for the world's worst weather.
