Mega Millions jackpot climbs to $740 million
The next Mega Million jackpot was up to $740 million Saturday morning after no one took home the jackpot Friday night.
The winning Mega Million numbers for Dec. 13 were 36, 43, 52, 58, 65, and the 3X megaplier was 16.

One person won $3 million, four people won $1 million, and four people won $30,000. Twenty-eight people won $10,000.

When is the next Mega Millions drawing?
The next Mega Millions drawing is Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 11 p.m. ET.
The jackpot is $740 million with a cash option of $342.9 million. It’s the eighth largest jackpot in Mega Millions history and the largest ever offered in December.

The last time someone hit the Mega Millions jackpot was Sept. 10, when a player in Texas won $810 million.
Mega Millions: How to play
Mega Millions tickets are sold in 45 states, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Tickets are currently $2 each, and in most areas, players can add the Megaplier for an additional $1 to multiply their non-jackpot prizes. However, the price of a ticket will more than double to $5 starting in April 2025, with lottery officials promising larger prizes and more winners.

The overall odds of winning any Mega Millions prize are 1 in 24, according to lottery officials – and the odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 302,575,350.
