Iran latest: US-Iran peace talks in Switzerland on hold

Peace talks between the United States, Iran, Qatar, and Pakistan have been placed on hold. 

The delay comes in the wake of a newly signed memorandum of understanding, with negotiators originally planning to finalize a deal between the U.S. and Iran within 60 days.

The agreement calls for a permanent end to hostilities and starts a 60-day clock to reach a final deal on the future of Iran’s nuclear program, though Trump left the door open to resume attacks.
